This position will also assist the branch manager with marketing and payment processing.
- Contact individuals to collect outstanding debts - Negotiate payment plans and settlements with debtors - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all debt collection activities - Follow legal guidelines and regulations when pursuing debt collection - Utilize various communication methods, including phone calls, letters, and emails, to contact debtors - Provide excellent customer service while working with debtors to resolve outstanding debts - Collaborate with other team members to develop effective debt collection strategies
Experience:
- Proven experience in debt collection or a related field - Strong negotiation skills to reach favorable payment arrangements with debtors - Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with debtors - Ability to work independently and meet collection targets - Experience in telemarketing or sales is a plus Job Type:
