Licensed Practical Nurse
The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for providing patient care services, determining medical conditions, and preparing patients for examination and treatment under the direction of the Provider.

Responsibilities:
o Prepare patients for examination, records vitals and history, and provides treatment as applicableo Assist in determining medical problems, initiates and maintains intravenous lines, administers fluids and medications as directed through provider orderso Collaborate with providers and other medical staff when examining or treating patients, giving injections, removing sutures, and applying splints and dressingso Authorize medication refills as per providers direction and provide prescription information to pharmacieso Prepare and administer injections, change dressings, and facilitate wound management under providers orderso Collect blood, tissue, and other laboratory specimens through routine in-house testing procedures, and analyze and prepare for testing, log results, and perform lab call-backso Prepares exam/treatment rooms; select, setup, sterilize, and maintain medical supplies and equipment for procedureso Document basic patient care and procedures, utilizing appropriate forms and electronic medical recordso Schedule patients for tests and follow-up appointmentso Instructs patients and family regarding treatment and medication instructionso Collaborate, take direction, and initiate actions that will allow the assumption of cross-functional team actions to ensure seamless patient careo Perform other duties as assignedRequirements and
Qualifications:
o Education:
High school graduate or equivalent is required.
o Certificate/License:
o
Experience:
A minimum of one - three years of relevant experience is preferred.
